Muhammad (S) -The Best & Last Prophet-according to Quran

Prophet Muhammad (S) was given the message just like other prophets/messengers, yet the message was completed and perfected on him.

[4:163] Surely We have revealed to you as We revealed to Nuh, and the prophets after him, and We revealed to Ibrahim and Ismail and Ishaq and Yaqoub and the tribes, and Isa and Ayub and Yunus and Haroun and Sulaiman and We gave to Dawood.

Muhammad (S) 's religion was mainly the Religion Of Prophet Ibrahim a.s (Islam)

[3:68] Most surely the nearest of people to Ibrahim are those who followed him and this Prophet and those who believe and Allah is the guardian of the believers.

The Religion was Completed and Perfected on Muhammad (S)

5:3 This day have I perfected for you your religion and completed My favor on you and chosen for you Islam as a religion; 

Muhammad was sent with the glad tiding that one day Islam will prevail over ALL RELIGIONS.

[9:33] He it is Who sent His Apostle with guidance and the religion of truth, that He might cause it to prevail over all religions, though the polytheists may be averse.

Muhammad  was for his people and for the last generation, too....

62:2          He it is Who hath sent among the unlettered ones a messenger of their own, to recite unto them His revelations and to make them grow, and to teach them the Scripture and wisdom, though heretofore they were indeed in error manifest,

62:3        Along with others of them who have not yet joined them. He is the Mighty, the Wise.

62:4        That is the bounty of Allah; which He giveth unto whom He will. Allah is of Infinite Bounty.
